Death, and respect for the dead, are recurring themes in the Last Door series. Characters often visit cemeteries in order to pay their respects, observe rituals, and conduct investigations. Cemeteries can be found at St. Gall, Wickport, and Éilís Mór. Alexandre's mansion includes a small grave plot.
